The Mikrotik Chateau 5G router is a wireless, dual-band, home access point router with 5G/LTE support designed to provide a fast internet connection anywhere at anytime.
The Chateau 5G isn't limited to just mobile connectivity; it also features five gigabit ethernet ports, a full size USB port, and strong dual-band wireless. The 2.4/5GHz concurrent coverage offered by the Chateau 5G helps to alleviate interference issues in a crowded environment.
Client devices can use the 2.4GHz channels for general use while high-throughput tasks can be performed simultaneously on the 5GHz channel.
The Chateau router has a number of customisation options through the use of TR-069 technology to create a custom, remote, client management option.
TR-069 can be used to configure the level of control available to the clients and which features of RouterOS they have access to.
TR-069 example:
Providers may choose to allow users to configure their router via the same web page they use to pay bills, while others may restrict novice users from making changes to the settings all together. Overall TR-069 can be used to provide clients with a better browsing experience in the long run.
