The DrayTek Vigor2132FVn high-performance router is developed in compliance with
the super-fast broadband architecture. Vigor2132FVn features 1 fiber slot WAN, 4
Gigabit LAN ports, built-in VoIP function with 2 FXS ports, and integrated
802.11n wireless access point. There are also 2 USB ports for printer or network
storage, which allows file sharing on the local network. In addition, the
support of 802.1Q VLAN on WAN and LAN enabled the router to provide triple-play
services. Through the combination of Gigabit WAN and LAN ports, the downstream
data and voice packets an be flawlessly delivered.
Integrated VoIP Gateway
The Vigor2132FVn has built-in VoIP function, it can be registered to up to
12 SIP registrars, delivers phone services to the IP phones on its LAN
network, there are also two RJ-11 FXS ports to where the traditional PSTN
phones can connect.
Bandwidth Management with Intelligent VoIP QoS
The Vigor2132FVn has the "VoIP QoS" feature to guarantee the
priority for VoIP calls, this will ensure good call quality even
when the Internet bandwidth is limited. In addition, the bandwidth
consumption of each LAN client can be managed via Session Limit and
Bandwidth Limit feature. You may also to set up The "Smart Bandwidth
Limit" to apply bandwidth limit only to the PCs which are running
inappropriate applications, such as P2P download.
VPN for Teleworkers
The Vigor2132FVn also included comprehensive VPN feature. It allows
up to 2 concurrent remote connections, which can be a LAN-to-LAN VPN
connecting the local network to the main office, or Host-to-LAN VPN
which allows a remote user to access the local network over the
Internet. A wide variety of VPN protocols are supported, including
PPTP, L2TP, IPsec, L2TP, and SSL VPN.
